While Dublin City Libraries reopens on a phased basis over the summer, you can access eResources for children of all ages for free like e-books, comics and much more. Have a look at our online resources and see what’s available.
All you need is your library card number. If you don’t have a library card number, you can sign up for one online here While libraries are closed, you do not need to finalise your application in the library before being able to use online services.

Congratulations to Mary Ohle whose submission to the Education Credit Union (ASTICU) has secured €1000 for Holy Family School! The board was very humbled with Mary’s application. She highlighted the challenges facing our students and the huge effort being made by staff to help them. We are delighted to receive this donation. This funding is given to support the current challenges of distant learning. We will use this money to further our plan to become a digital school. Thank you Mary and ASTICU very much.

We celebrated the annual Sports Day virtually. Starting off the week with a homemade obstacle course and beat the teacher competition. A daily sports challenge was sent to parents to complete at home such as a scavenger hunt, Yoga poses, etc.
We received photos and videos of students attempting the sports challenges! Well done to everyone for participating and for those who didn’t try it out yet, it’s not too late! Get everyone in your family involved.
The winners are Lena, Bobby, Sophia, Mia and Gabriel! Well done everyone!! You are amazing! Hope you all had fun!

Check out Hannah and Callum who took part in Athy Sing & Sign project ‘It’s Time to SIgn’ for Criunniu na nÓg. This is a day of free creativity for children and young people. Congratulations to Finn (3A Class) who came 3rd all over Ireland in the JCSP Time Capsule Competition. The team of judges commented that “Finn’s entry is in infographic style and provides a comprehensive insight into the life of a teenager in Ireland. I hope you can share this wonderful news with him and your school community.”
Finn won a €15 voucher one4all voucher for coming 3rd in this fantastic competition. Well Done Finn, we are very proud of you and you deserve it.
