Boarding provides communal dining areas where the Boarders and Staff dine together. The morning routine involves breakfast from 07:30- 08:30. Menus are planned in conjunction with the Boarders. We actively promote a healthy eating culture, working in conjunction with a Dietician.

Homework Club

Homework Club occurs throughout the week and is co-ordinated by the Teachers and supervised by Social Care Staff, in the schools. Educational support plans are put in place for each Boarder with their Key-worker and teaching staff.

Medical department

The medical department is made up of two nurses and our medical director Dr Brophy. We also have a relief nurse on staff. We provide nursing cover from 8am-9pm Monday-Thursday and 8-2pm on Fridays. Boarding provides check-ups with the doctor yearly and provides ongoing assistance as required. The close proximity to the GP practice ensures an effective and efficient service. We have a dedicated pharmacy that provides a 24-hour information and assistance helpline, with a qualified pharmacist.
