A visit from the Guards!

Category : Primary

A few weeks ago the Guards from Cabra Garda Station came into the Primary School to give a talk about Safety Online. The children had lots of great questions which the Guards answered – no matter how difficult! On Friday Garda Rory popped by with 2 Hampers full of treats! We are going to raffle them off in the coming week. Thank you so much Cabra Garda Station!

Happy World Kindess Day

Category : Primary

Happy World Kindness Day to all the staff in Primary School from 5th/6th Class. What a lovely surprise coming into work to see this. It’s warming to know the students care for staff as much as staff care for the students during these difficult days.

Thank You 5th/6th Class from all the staff at Primary.

It is important to be kind to yourself as well! What random act of kindness are you going to do today?

PE at Home

Category : Primary

Here are some great ideas from Youtube of things you can do at home to keep you moving and your skills sharp!

If you don’t have any golf clubs, use a dust pan brush, or a sweeping brush.
Living Room Skee Ball! Use any sized balls that you have lying around!
It’s really important that your teddy bears get to exercise too!
A great activity to do on a dry day! Thanks to Cork Sports Partnershsip for this video!

Have a great weekend and send us photos of any PE you do at home! We would love to see them!
