Welcome to St Mary’s and St Joseph’s Boarding Campuses for Deaf Children. Under the patronage of the Catholic Institute for Deaf People, CIDP operates two separate gender based Boarding Campuses to provide care for young Deaf people of school going age who attend the schools on Campus. We strive to provide a ‘home away from home’ environment, where we support the educational, emotional, and social development of the Boarders. We provide boarding from Sunday to Friday, with the Boarders going home after school on Friday. Escorts are provided for Boarders who commute long distances on public transport. We have an on-site school bus that transports the Boarders to and from school daily.

Both Campuses are located in close proximity to the Phoenix Park on the Navan Road. This provides an urban location, surrounded by acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. The sites have the advantage of being both open and spacious, whist maintaining privacy for the Boarders and allowing ready access to the schools, game fields and Deaf Village Ireland, which provides access to state of the art sports facilities.
