Below is an email from the Department of Education and Skills regarding the calculate grades for Leaving Cert 2020.
Dear Principal,
Minister for Education, Norma Foley TD, has today made an important announcement regarding the national standardisation process which forms part of the Calculated Grades model being provided for Leaving Certificate students this year.
Students may find the updated information on www.gov.ie/leavingcertificate useful to explain the changes. It also includes information regarding supports and guidance available for students when the Calculated Grades are issued. You may wish to advise students of same.
The Calculated Grades Executive Office (CGEO) will make direct contact with students in the coming days with information about the issue of results and next steps in the process.
Further details on the 2020 Leaving Certificate (Calculated Grades) results and supports for students receiving results will also be issued to schools by the CGEO in the coming days.
Thank you to Aideen Lynch and Maggie Owens for coordinating Digital training for all our educational staff. Our teachers are looking forward to preparing their lessons using Google Classrooms. Google for Education will help teachers to create classes, distribute assignments, grade and send feedback, and see everything in one place. It will certainly make teaching and learning in the Holy Family School more engaging and exciting!
Thank you to Sean Herlihy for creating this video to show our students what we can do to make our school day a safer environment. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to school tomorrow.
