This beautiful video is a collage of positive and good wishes from the students in Holy Family School for the Deaf. They created this impressive video all by themselves organising messages from different students in the school. They send welcoming messages to the new first years and also meaningful goodbye and good wishes messages to our current sixth years. Well Done Students, this is a fantastic and wonderful memento to have. <3

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
A BIG THANK YOU to all for taking part in the Treasure Hunt competition. There was a great response to this competition. We did a live raffle of all the entries during our staff zoom meeting today at 12pm. The winners won a €20 voucher for Woodbine Bookshop https://www.woodbinebooks.ie/ This is a beautiful bookshop and they have an online store.

Congratulations to Finn Lyons who won the Holy Family ‘TIME CAPSULE’ Competition. His time capsule ‘My Day during Covid – 19’ was very interesting showing all the things he was doing on a typical day during lockdown. He won a €20 voucher for WOODBINE BOOKSHOP. This is a beautiful book store in Kilcullen. Well Done Finn, you deserve it.

J.K.Rowling is publishing a new children’s book online. The “Harry Potter” author released the first two chapters of “The Ickabog” on a new website Tuesday 26th of May, explaining that the story will be released for free over the next seven weeks. Posted every weekday, each installment will be “a chapter (or two or three).”
J.K.Rowling wrote ‘The Ickabog’ a long time ago and read it to her two children. Rowling said that “It isn’t Harry Potter and it doesn’t include magic. This is an entirely different story.”
You can read it for free every day. You also get an opportunity to enter an illustration competition. Please see link below.
