Poetry Day Ireland 2020

Category : Primary

Please check out this poem which was written by one of our primary school students Ava (5th Class). Well Done Ava, We are very proud of you.
Well done to your teacher too Ms. Orla Cunningham.

Time

The quickest thing to be taken away is time,
Taken so quick it’s almost a crime,
From the birds and the bees,
To the fish in the seas,
It’s important to remember,
To take the time to always be tender,

Sit back and relax and let things go,
While the time continues to flow,
But most important when you’re old and grey,
To look back and appreciate each day.

Cooking up a Storm!

Category : Post Primary

Evan Maguire is enjoying his home schooling. He is working hard on getting evidence for his folder in his QQI final pieces of work.
Evan is busy at home cooking for all his family and I can see he is making a great job of it. WELL DONE EVAN.

Heros 2 Us

Holy Family School were honoured to work with Dublin Concert Band on the HEROS2US initiative. They thought it would be beautiful to have it signed in ISL and let the music and signs talk for themselves.
It was a small way for us to show our appreciation to all the Front Line Staff for what they are doing.

Thank you to Shirley and to everyone for taking part and special thanks to all our Front Line Staff – You are indeed our Heros <3
