Holy Family School Staff created this imovie for DEAR (Drop Everything and Read), which is this Friday the 24th of April. We also want to let all our students know that we miss them very much and we wish them well and to keep safe. It is very important that everyone is looking after their well-being. We hope that all our students, staff, family and friends will drop everything on the 24th of April at 12 noon to READ for 20 minutes. You can read anything; it can be books, magazines, graphic novels, comic books, newspapers, digital library etc.
When Joe Duffy visited us last February to open our new Reading Room, he shared a quote with us, that is “Books will get you through times of no money better than money will ever get you through times of no books.” in other words, books will get us through challenging times. Happy Reading Everyone, and please send us pictures and/or photos of books you are reading for DEAR. Below is a photo of our students Shauna, Emma and Shane getting ready for DEAR challenge. Well done guys!
