This term the PE Department worked on the gymnastics module of the PE Curriculum. Students learned how to coordinate their movements doing safe forward and backward rolls, and improving their balancing and strength abilities. As part of the Gymnastic module students also did group-work performing different human pyramids with 2-5 students. Very good workout and super fun to be had by all!

5B hosted an Irish Sign Language (ISL) Bingo game with 1st years as part of their LCA General Education Task. Their aim was to teach 1st years ISL through a fun learning activity. They taught ISL through four different topics; animals, country flags, food and careers. The 1st years really enjoyed learning ISL through bingo especially those who got a full house! They won and received a prized selection box! It was a successful event!
