Toastmaster of the Week Award

Category : Post Primary

Congratulations to TY student Noel Geralty who has won the ‘Toastmaster of the Week’ award. Noel has shown great confidence in delivering a speech to his classmates. He was highly commended for the way he structured his speech – Clear Introduction, main body, and conclusion. Noel delivered a speech on ‘The person who Inspired me’. He spoke about the famous footballer Salah and of his Philanthropy skills. He is inspired to be like him one day in the future.
Noel is also the ‘Grammarian’ in YLP class and the word he has introduced today is ‘Ecstatic’ – How very app! I am sure he was ecstatic to win this award. Well Done Noel.

Delightful Afternoon Tea

Category : Post Primary

The LCA students are hard at work again. They made a very sweet afternoon tea as part of their course work. They made smoked salmon with cream cheese on brown scones, tea scones with jam and cream, mini sponge cakes filled with jam and cream, mille feuille and Victoria sandwich mini cakes. Everything looked so delicious. Well done students and teacher Ms.Higgins.
